Make a Wish Foundation has certainly inspired a lot of people to pursue similar non-profit paths. Take for instance my own mother with Seniors Have Dreams, Too-a non-profit that grants wishes to seniors who've never had a chance to have "that" dream fulfilled. Today I saw this on weddingwire.com

Companies dotate wedding items or services and they are bid on at an auction. The money raised is used to give a wedding to a terminally ill person. This is an awesome idea, and I've already signed up to donate a poem. Check it out, donate if you can, or maybe you can nominate someone. I think the world is a wonderful place!
