Next month will be September and while I look forward to the start of school. It is always bittersweet as 9/11 draws closer. Soon after the attack, I wrote the following poem. In the days that followed I remember editing it over and over as the number of confirmed dead was lowered over and over. This poem will be on sale, matted as it is in the red, white and blue matting, during the month of September. The price will be $15.00. The proceeds will go to benefit the Vietnam Veterans Center in Hyannis. It will be posted on my website www.dks-custompoetry.com
